Is it common to offer signing bonuses for product managers? I've only worked in small companies and I'm currently interviewing at a much larger company. I am expecting an offer this week, but the salary isn't quite where I want it to be. A signing bonus of 5 or 10k would make me feel so much better (obviously) but it would put me right where I want to be for salary this year. Asking for advice- I’ve realized consulting is not the path for me long term and have had plans to quit.
