Debating between a few travel cards and need some opinions. Debating between Capital One Venture, Venture X and Amex Green card.

Live in a non major city with an international airport, but need to be flexible to different airlines. Which of those cards, or other cards out there, would be best

I got the VentureX about 4 months ago and absolutely love it. The lounge access from priority pass is great as I travel weekly.

I considered the Chase Sapphire reserve (had the preferred until I got my VentureX), the Capital One VentureX, and the Amex Platinum. Amex platinum is great but offers a lot of credits I don’t need - and I don’t like that yearly travel credits aren’t as nice as Chase or CapOne

The VentureX to me was pretty much all the benefits of the CSR for $150 less a year (and no fees to add my wife as an authorized user)

Happy to refer if you are interested. But either way it’s been a great card!

Chase Sapphire reserve offers priority pass and billing credits worth more than its fee including non travel credits such as door dash, Lyft pink and instacart. DM me for referral.

Amex gold or platinum. Dm me for for referral

How often do you travel? That will help offset the annual fee into an effective annual fee.

I would like to hit fire between 40-50. Currently 27, 185k total comp (125 for me and 60 for partner). Like my job don’t hate it don’t love it. Does an MBA make sense? I’m guessing it could take me to 170ish with that schools I’m looking at but wondering if the 40-50 retirement range makes an mba not make sense since I’d only have 10-20 years to save vs 12-22.

Would have to finance the whole thing myself. Current net worth is 140k. Thoughts?

How concerned are you about inflation? We have 70% savings rate and 50% of our expenses are housing / utilities of which the largest part is rent which is a fixed contract (no CPI escalation, no automatic increases, paying same rent for 4 years). No car as we are living in a large city. So if I look at the components of CPI and what’s rising I am feeling pretty „good“ about it. The one thing I am „worried“ is asset inflation but obviously that benefits me directly. What am I missing?

For the new lease, I'm still pending full approval from a condo association as I have to do an in person interview. I have paid first months rent in advance. Is there anyway to get that money back?

I am a firm believer that this will not change for a long time, local TV will continue to live as long as we stand for it.

Car was $35k, $7k down, finance $28k. Gap insurance is through lender, not auto insurer.
