Has anyone here participated in the year long remote year program? My company is fully remote in the US and is in general supportive of me going but concerned about local and international tax liability. Remote year doesn’t share tax advice and our HR team is small. Curious to hear from people at companies who have done it before and if there were any issues from a tax or payroll perspective. This is gonna sound stupid, but I’m honest - I can’t do math. Calculating a tip is as advanced as I get. Thank god for excel formulas and a math savvy husband.
