What are some solutions you actually think make recruting more equitable?

I am 25 years old - have been in the ‘mortgage underwriting profession for 2.5 years. I have heard some things about getting stuck in a specific assets class and mortgages when pursuing underwriting. I wanted to see if anyone has successfully exited mortgage underwriting and if there are any exit opportunities with more growth potential in real estate or finance. Would love any input!

My husband having 12 yrs. exp currently holds two opportunities abroad at the moment. We r a family of three (husband, wife and a 1 yo)

One is a contract role (through a consultancy) in Australia with 100k annual pay.. Other one is an On-site opportunity in New Zealand through an WITCH company, not unsure of the pay right now. Their eventual plan is to settle abroad, preferably Australia

However just next day I got mail saying Dehaat has temporarily frozen hiring process. Anyone working at Dehaat can tell me what is happening at Dehaat currently? Question: an employee was asked by his boss for same day turn around on responses/deliverables on a days he requested PTO. He completed the work. The manager wants to know if she can still deduct PTO time for the days requested, even though he completed work on those days. Help.
