Hey. No. I have not felt like ending it, and hopefully not over a job. Please tap into resources available to you or take a much deserved and needed break from your job. Regardless of title, you’re still a person. Your job is not your life - take care of the personal and get some reprieve from the day to day so you can focus on getting better. I’m sorry you are feeling this way.
Hey I’m sorry you feel that way. If it’s mainly work related please take some time off. It’s not worth it for a job
Ah man. I'm sorry you're feeling this way. I don't currently feel this way but have definitely felt it in the past. Things must really be stressful. The holidays can also be super intense for many of us.... The break is right around the corner, are you able to take advantage of it? If not can you talk to someone on your team to get some time off (or just leave earlier/extend the break). For me, feeling that way means that I'm really tired and burning out and need rest. If I don't do that for myself to get out of that headspace, things can really go downhill fast. Take care of yourself. This job can never be worth your life. My inbox is open if you want to talk about firm resources or have questions. Take care.
I am sorry anyone in our profession feels this way. Your life is far more important than any job. Speak up to your supervisor and reach out to your healthcare provider they may be able to help. God Bless.
Might be able to take advantage but it never seems to work out. I’m the director so hard to really talk to anyone about taking off early. And I don’t really want to hurt my career by showing weakness publicly.
Lots of personal stuff that just seems to be more than it ever has been. I always get a little depressed this time of year but this year has been especially bad.
I am sorry my fellow pwcer is feeling depressed. Another great resource is the livewell resources which you can contact directly at 18888874114. They are open 24/7 and open all thru the holidays. You can also access resources for them on HQ and there is a pwc specific number listed there too (but it leads to the number I posted here so don’t get confused).
I am in HR, I have been with the firm over 20 years - my virtual door is always open to you. If you want to connect live please direct message me and happy to connect.
Thinking of you...
