Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

You should go to industry and get a raise for doing less
Come to Deloitte and they'll be happy to demote you
Try also looking into corporate functions. The pressure to advance and the whole up or out mentality isn't there.
Just so you know, Oracle is hiring 😜
You should join another firm then. Not getting paid manager salary for doing manager work is BS
You could move over to Technology. The internal branding of CD&O that it's for people who are happy doing what they do and don't really care about moving into Sales.
In my past life as a manager in industry I had someone ask me for a demotion from engineer to technician. Less responsibility, stricter hour limitations, and overtime. He saw a 30% raise and has been happy as a clam. We went out and celebrated his demotion
I know someone in my practice in C&M who was demoted (not sure if he asked for it or not though) from MD to SM so it is possible...
I've seen people going from M at Big4/ACN to associate at MBB/2nd tier, and based on their experience I'd say it was a good move. Why don't you want to leave? Pressure only gets worse at ACN...
Don't want to leave consulting. Already asked for raise and was denied. Trying to avoid leaving but seems like only option unless I ask for demotion.
Switch firms or ask for more. Never ask for a demotion. They'd let you go. How much do you make and which group?
And also sorry to hear about the shitty situation. It sucks at big firms where even an advocate can't help you get paid more
Not a good idea OP. This isn't industry and you are risking your job. Switch firms asap get the pay bump and be happy.
Transfer into CDO or ITL may be easier don't recommend asking for a demotion you should quit first
