CDs and above: salary and city?
I received a Senior Game Developer position at Globant Game Studios and just wanted to know if anyone has any idea about this department. I received Bangalore as the base Location and they told me Pune is having all the team, in future will they ask me to join in Pune? Which I don't want to.

BCG TA is a part of BCG consulting team and probably nearly as hard to get into. Platinion is an (acquired?) daughter, much more focused on implementation. Probably easier to get into, but also more technical knowledge required. No idea about comp at Platinion. Helps?
Interviewed w/ Platinion earlier this year. Process was class act and the NY office was ridiculous. Salary was $175/185 for a Project leader position. Internally they are known as Platinion, to clients they are BCG plain and simple.
IT Plutonium is what we went into Iraq to stop I think...
Platinion does IT Strategy, Cyber Security, Agile Transformation etc. Great at what they do. Base pay is same as BCG, but bonus may vary. Highly selective.
Platinion* LOL
I remember asking that question during the interview. Don't remember exactly but, TA does more of strategy and product roadmap etc. While Platinion does IT implementation / DevOps improvement etc.
Would appreciate if someone from BCG can clarify.
C1 is right. And BCG TA is much harder to get than BCG Platinion.
@OP, also got contacted by the recruiter for Platinion. I'm sure it's the same guy. How far along are you? Any thoughts on the process so far?
BTW, lots of negative feedback on glassdoor fwiw. I know comments are always biased towards the poles, but it did seem a bit extreme. They're trying to break into the US so my guess is there are 2-4 senior leaders with 100% focus on growth and willing to do whatever it takes. Just my 2 cents though.
EYOP, 10+
Couldn’t tell you exactly, haven’t spoke to anyone but recruiter. I sensed the role was for implementation support and advisory as my experience and background is in SAP, not cyber. Also sounded like a new-ish offering and were looking for people with strong core consulting skills who can grow and work outside technical ‘fastball’. At least that was my takeaway from the conversations I had

I’m SM 3 at EY, if that help. Any comments on culture, are they perceived as inferior to traditional BCG practices?
How'd you find the opportunity OP
I got a good laugh about that too! I received an email and phone call from an external recruiter who is in contract with BCG. Early stages at this point.
Now that we all got a decent laugh, any thoughts on the topic?
By any chance this is for their cyber op?
Between BCG TA and BCG platinion : what’s the difference ?
@c1 more selective than BCG? Don't think so
Perhaps BCGs don’t know either. Whoever survives at the end of the year will be the BCG offering the following year.
Yes, the comments help confirm my thoughts a bit. Thank you!
