Absolutely. We’ve have little to no support from family as they are overseas. We have 2 young children and the first one is a bit hyperactive and little one was very young when the pandemic started so has zero friends. My wife and I struggled significantly but realized that we need to snap out of it. It wasn’t easy. Our relationship was strained too probably out of depression/frustration etc. We too didn’t have any symptoms all along (may be mild at one point in time so guess we had covid) but last two years were surely hard on us. We felt lonely without any support from family, kids acting up etc.
I would try compromises first. When we stopped locking down our home it started with me going to game night with a few guy friends, then she’d go to book club. Doing activities outside the house with social friends helped. Eventually our kids went to school and we just stopped the whole lock down. We all got Covid in February, but it was the weak omnicron so we feel fortunate that we hardly had symptoms.
