It’s all diet. Sounds like you’ve got a handle on the workouts - diet is a huge part of cutting fat though.
A few years back I really went for it and cut out all processed carbs and processed sugars. Took about a month, just gotta be really diligent.
Lift weights. Heavy compound movements. Start with a split like this:
Day 1: Push (Overhead press, bench, push ups)
Day 2: Pull (Pullups, rows, face pulls)
Day 3: legs (squats, deadlifts)
Day 4: Rest
and mix in some hill sprints a couple times a week (Probably on Day 1 and Rest Day)
hey op, hang in there. That last bit of fat is the hardest to go. Sounds like you have both diet and work out in check. I would suggest focusing on increasing your 1rpm for squat, deadlift, bench over head press. And lat pull. Your body will burn more fat if you have more muscle mass. If you are already in the 15 to 17 %body fat range then, i would suggest a keto diet with your IF.
Diet
SO got rid of that after he went lactose-free. He recently found out he was intolerant to lactose so not sure it would work for everyone, but the result is impressive.
Intermittent fasting
Do more cardio that involves your thighs, running, squats, leg press etc etc.
Plank all the way!
Thanks.... doing side planks with leg lifts, plank jacks, etc. so I guess I am on my way. Diet is probably even more effective I know, but I already do IF twice a week and use MyFitnessPal for calories and macros.
Any other ideas from those who have gotten rid of this problem?
I will try that...so no milk, cheese, ice cream etc. Taking out the occasional (weekly?) ice cream alone may do the trick. Appreciate the help all.
He cut everything. He was actually eating more pasta and bread, but everything lactose free.
Appreciate this! Thank you 😀.
