First time investing and hence I did some research on investment and planning to invest 40k in the below fashion.
10k-ELSS 10K-Equity MF 10k-Debt MF 4K-NPS 6K-PPF . Is it fine or any suggestions are welcomed. Also if anyone can suggest me which ELSS or mutual fund should I select considering the current market scenario

If I invest 50k in NPS, I would save 7k this year as per my tax calculation. Is this a good deal? In general, I don't like such long term investment, maybe I'd start that when I'm 35 but not today.
