I think the interview went good but I haven't received any feedback from them.I called hr and she said it will take time.How long is interview process at gsk? Is it SAFE joining Wipro as technical lead (B3) with 37LPA? Knowing that package is pretty high as compared to collogues in same band. HR is not ready to give project manager(C1) position.

All the rounds are completed a month back and last week HR called and said there is a global freeze and would not be able to take immediately and asked if i am interested to wait for 2 months and further technical interviews are not needed is what she said...Is really the hiring stopped ? Nope. We actively try to recruit from elite colleges. Have had great experiences with people from Princeton, GW, Purdue, Stanford, oxford, trinity, and Columbia
No designer positions sadly. Mostly business operations, media, and programmatic right now
I wouldn't be averse to a particular school. Just look for someone with a motor and passion regardless of background. That's usually worth more than academic background (over a certain threshold)

Went to one of those schools. And I hate that mentality. It's something I've learned to distance myself from.

I find most of the kids from the top universities and ad courses in the UK have come from reasonably comfortable backgrounds and in general aren't natural problem solvers. A skill vital in the creative department. If you've had to solve problems in your life, you have skills that the greatest colleges on the planet can't teach.
I agree with CD1. My worst behaved, laziest, entitled,and most problematic team members have come fresh from Ivy League schools. One group in entry level sales informed me they should be doing the strategy work because they thought reaching out for new business was beneath them. I don't exclude candidates, but I do take extra time in interviews now the assess their entitlement and initiative.
