I got an offer with TCS and initially selected joining date as Jan 2.. but current org released me in 1 month instead of 3 months.. I asked TCS HR and others for early Onboarding but they didn't respond well..

After that I got one offer and joined immediately. But now I don't like to work here as I have to go to office all 5 days mandatorily, also role is slightly new to me.

How can join in TCS on the selected date ?

On the topic of intimacy with partners… I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years and the past year his libido has dropped to zero. Mostly due to work stress (he says). Lawyers in Public Accounting, what have your non-public accounting job experiences been like? If you’re currently in public accounting, are you happy where you’re at or do you aspire to do something different? I’m always curious to hear about career paths.

I am not in law school yet. But I was wondering where I can find out about other opportunities besides the standard tax attorney route. I am almost a CPA and currently in audit.

Do any attorneys here also have side gigs? Besides clearing conflicts and having professional liability insurance, is there anything else I need to consider?

As a law student interested in going into the field I’ve seen a lot of negative comments saying that only lawyers who couldn’t get into big law go into PA. Although I know most people try to get into big law initially, it is very competitive and many don’t stay past 2-3 years. You certainly don’t make as much going into PA as a lawyer but the pay is certainly not bad and the WLB is generally much better. Can anyone speak to how they got into PA and if you would rather be working in Big Law
