Speaking as a MC who does a lot of work with our SC teams (our Payer practice is really blended across our horizontals), I can say the culture isn’t great and a lot of people are unhappy. It may be more about the practice itself than a specific horizontal, but among my network, many people are strongly considering exiting now that bonuses were just paid out. From what I know about WMP, it would be a huge cultural adjustment if you made the jump.
Thanks for sharing. Do you mind elaborating on specific cultural elements that are challenging? Is it more around the project work demands or leadership?
I work in our Health and Pharma practice in the UK (we aren’t split into payer etc.). We have a really great and growing practice that regularly competes for and wins work against MBB + IMS etc. The team is incredible hardworking, but we also very sociable with bi-weekly socials, team trips, so it’s a lovely atmosphere to work in, with a great mix of UK and EU/ex-US projects.
