I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..

Hello Fishes, I carry 5.9 yrs of exp in International inside sales & LeadGen (Domestic- 2 yrs & Europe- 3.9 yrs) working for Tata Elxsi from past 2.8 years. As I'm not getting the expected hike based on my performance, I want to change the co. Current package - 8LPA, too low compared to market standards.
* Let me know- how much should I quote if I start to give interviews * Is it a good time to switch co. Also share which companies should I approach. Thanks in advance.

Down
I wear it down. I think if you're going to wear it up, it needs to be in a style more professional than a ponytail.
I put my hair up so it's one less distraction for me and the interviewer.
Down. I never wear it up at work
I have short hair, so, down. But when I used to have hair that was longer, I wore it up. I was also younger and felt it made me look older and more professional to wear it up (which may have been true at the time).
Do whatever makes you feel your best and most confident. Good luck!
How insensitive of you to leave out people identifying as female from giving their opinion on this. ;)
depends on your hair
I have long hair kind of . Past the shoulder
Down.
Distraction = me playing with my hair or moving it out of my face.
I'm really fidgety as well, A1, and if my hair is down I'm playing with it. I've always known but my team recently said something about it as well, so I know it's noticeable. If I have an important meeting/interview I wear mine up in a pony or bun to keep it from being a distraction. Whatever points I lose for that being "less professional," I'd lose more for playing with my hair. 🤷🏻♀️
Down.
Thanks everyone!!
Down. An interviewer will not be distracted by hair...
