Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

Bain & Company Is it truly easier to get in a smaller MBB office?

Everything's exactly the same except for staffing where you're expected / pushed to focus more on projects within your expertise domain (and more specific training opportunities to develop your expertise)
Yes but that's true regardless of practice - business analyst / ASCs have similar roles across each practice / generalist function as do implementation coaches or data scientists (which can all specialize in industry practices)
It’s the same and honestly barely matters until EM. I do a a mix of true M&S and strategy work and there’s tons of overlap.
Thanks all, this is very helpful.
How about from an MBA recruiting perspective – are there specific M&S cases? Do you think M&S would be any more/less competitive than strategy?
No and no. It’s the same interview process, same bar to clear and no it’s just as competitive as integrative, I think “competition” has more to do with total spots available within the office in a given cycle - but love to have another McK fish weigh in on that, not sure I’m correct.
