I'm working in one of the top organisation in Germany with a base of 90k euro and looking for good opportunities in India. Newsflash: we all “fly all the time”
Find a way to spend ~50k. Should be straightforward if you are flying first!
lol D1 feels slighted
I fly first to/from Europe but not domestic unless I'm on a Redeye. Since I work on the plane it seems stupid to waste money on business class. But I should get to $50k pretty soon anyway because I fly all the time.
It's not just spend. It's profitability. I got it off ~40k of high margin (refundable first) fares.
It has a lot to do with probability and $/mile. I made it a couple years in a row with relatively low spend out of sfo but since I was taking last minute international business flights my $/mile was quite high.
$/mile is the answer. Unlikely to get it if you spend $60k in discounted economy flights but if you spend $40k on full refundable first you should be good.
D1 - I know, that's why I figured someone here would have an answer. Thanks BCG3, makes sense.
