Just accepted a new role with a good amount of equity shares…company is at least a few years from going public. I’ve never had equity so this is all new to me (I took it as a data point when considering the offer but not putting too much stock into it - pun intended 😆). Any resources or recommendations on how I can best educate myself or any other advice would be most appreciated!

Ok, I don’t think an MBA is a guaranteed win $$ wise. At worst I just end up making a very similar TC (~140-150), at best I end up with 30-50 more. But I think I’m interested in an MBA for the experience, for a break from work, and to explore other opportunities. Is the loss of the opportunity cost a big enough factor to prevent me from going?

I am graduating with a degree in PR and a lot of internship experience. Do you think taking a post-grad internship with a major agency is a good entry point? Or should I hold out for full-time?

I struggled with binge drinking for many years after my mom passed away. I have been sober for the past 12 months.
