Leaving after one year to another biglaw firm?
I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

KPMG does strategy?
Exactly my point
You should definitely consider spending £100k on an MBA to transition in.

It’s definitely possible and I’ve helped a few friends move, go for it! Feel free to DM if you want to chat
Can i DM too? I'm just starting my career at KPMG this month..
You should give a shot, leverage your experience and stay clear of the bias showed around here. I will move to MBB next month coming from Big4, and i know of similar transitions. Good luck!
Out of interest, what role are you joining as?
What engagement types have you worked on?
Appreciated - cheers!!
KPMG strategy people have jumped to Tier 2s before. And Tier 2 -> MBB is pretty common. Cheaper than an MBA...
I’ve heard of moves from B4 consulting to MBB before- uncommon from what I can tell but doable!
Would also be worth considering some of the strategy-focused T2s imo- similar skill set and good opportunities.
I’m at a Big 4 and got interviews at all MBBs after about 3 years. Definitely a thing
