35M. Friend zoned after one date. What am I doing wrong? I met her at a baby shower. We talked/text regular for about a month or so because I was traveling for work. Finally went on a date about two weeks ago, a week after I told her I like her and said she never thought about us being romantic. Today I got the official friend zoned text.

I have a potential offer to join a mid firm in a city where they’ve only been around for a few years, so there aren’t a lot of employees, maybe 25. I really like city and the people, but curious, would joining at this stage lead to faster promotion to MD/Partner? Or even manager or senior manager? I like residential real estate too, but wondering if I should do that after given the sheer number of residential real estate agents out there.

Currently interviewing at CBRE for an analyst position… looking on Glassdoor it seems like the salaries are quite low. Anyone in the Vancouver office could confirm or deny? I am currently making 65k and would be looking for an offer around 75k.
