Am I ruining my opportunity of a potential job offer if I do a video interview from my car? This is a 30 min interview with the boss of the person I had a 1 HR interview with last week. Wanted some clarification about TCS salary structure Job level offered is C3B

1) Monthly performance pay is 9.25 percent of CTC. Recruiter is saying this is fixed salary. Is this component always fixed or there are scenarios when company can deduct this? Even if one is on bench, is this fixed?

2) Performance Bonus / Quarterly variable is 12.7 percent of CTC. Is this too high or standard for all people at C3B level?

3) Together both make variable 22% of CTC. Is it normal or too high?

I have 7.5 exp in QA ( Manual+ Auto) . My current package is 15 LPA all fixed. I have an offer from 3 companies
1. Conviva(26f+1.4pf+10% comp perf bonus)+ 2L joining bonus.
2. Coforge(30f+1.5 var)
3. Q2 software( 26f+1L joining bonus + 4 L PSU)

My client wants a SOC 1 but they aren't a service provider. My senior manager is pushing back but the client still wants to do it. I don't think we can do a SOC 1 because it's not applicable.

Hoping someone can help - I got an email to collect my passport and saw my skilled worker visa has been approved but I have not received any official communication from the UKVI regarding my outcome (although my collection email said that my decision was emailed). How long does this usually take to come through?

Why Interviewer want to insult candidate rather respect them ? Why 99% interviewer ask candidate about Pluto. I mean ask something which has no relation with application, project. Why this mind set ?? Why thr is a ego fight. If I know everything why I will join your company. We are not Architect !! Only those 6 companies have Interview pattern. Else everywhere it depends on interviewer, selection depends on thr mindset.

Asking advice from a recruiter: I’ve been recently laid off :( This week I took some time to reflect, talk to friends and family. I want to be more thoughtful on my next move and although interviewing right away would be logical I feel I want to take a break and some time for myself. Take a month or two off working and use that time to plan thoughtfully on my next move. Would having that gap in my resume be an issue when I go back to the job market?
