Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte

McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

You don’t need a sponsor for a TN visa, do a little more research but it should just be a letter of some sort to prove that you’ve employed there.
However, you would likely be coming in thru the management consulting category and because that’s so broad and commonly used, it’s heavily scrutinized at the border by CBP. Every border entry you make is at the discretion of the individual CBP officer.
have never seen that getting through at accenture in my time over a decade
Damn! Lol. Thanks for your response

I’m surprised Accenture would not consider that because a TN visa is like the easiest visa to get. We did a bunch of them at my last job and never had an issue and that was a small family owned business.
I would apply and talk to the recruiter because you really do not know until you try and different roles could have different requirements. Worst thing is they tell you no and reject you.
That is so true. Thank you
I have never seen a TN sponsorship... I'm not saying it does not possibly happen, but I have never seen one sponsored.
Accenture is the only consulting firm that won’t do TNs. It’s been like this for 10+ years.
Focus on the other firms. Best option is (1) internal transfer via L visa (2) smaller/boutique firms via TN
