Anyone in here work at ERPA? I have a discussion with a recruiter scheduled and I am curious on a few things. The recruiter promoted work/life balance but how realistic is this? What are the utilization targets? What is the culture around time off? There's been too many consultants experiencing burn out and that is a huge factor for me right now.

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

ERPA is truly a people-first culture. This is my 2nd partner (+10 years in the Workday partner ecosystem), and this is a really terrific place to work. Smart, experienced consultants and a genuine focus on client satisfaction. 75% utilization target. Business has been strong and most people seem to be getting full bonuses each quarter. I'd encourage you to see if ERPA is a fit for you!
I came to ERPA after 10 years in the ecosystem, and I have been here a year now. I can unequivocally say that I have been very happy here; happier than where I was before by a mile. The company culture is very special and is employee-centric. Work-life balance is VERY important to our leaders. I am not suggesting that I am never overworked or underworked on any given day, but the norm is that I keep regular working hours. The difference at ERPA is that our leaders listen when we say things are out of balance - they action plan what they can do to help and report their progress on how they are tracking (ramping up hiring, outsourcing to third parties, being more proactive and transparent on the sales pipeline, etc. etc. etc.). Our utilization targets are on pace with ecosystem norms (75%), with incentives if you exceed your target. Our culture specific to time off is really empowering. While unlimited PTO is not unique to ERPA, the difference is that folks around here really embrace it. Our practice is very mature, and does the responsible thing to work with colleagues to line up backups where needed. I can absolutely say people take time off around here and really disconnect. We live the "work hard, play hard" mantra. When you are here, be here. When you're not, rest and recharge and come back ready to go. Take the time you want and need. Best of luck in your next steps and the choices you make!
I’ve been at ERPA for about 2 months and love it! Utilization is 75% so only about 30 billable hours per week and we have a small but mighty and very experienced team. You can actually use the unlimited PTO, just be proactive about communicating your days out given the team is small. I personally left a culture of burnout at my last partner so this has been refreshing. DM me if you’d like to know more.
Yes! Joined ERPA because it has experienced consultants who take a consultative approach, not just 'fix a problem' and move on. We do have a focus on work/life balance and avoiding burnout. Utilization is do-able, PTO is available, and people are nice and helpful.
