Not at Apple but I’ve interviewed for a couple different positions. It depends on the hiring manager and the head of the group. I got to the final round before the VP vetoed working in an office that wasn’t Cupertino or Austin.
Not at Apple, but I understand their legal team typically are located in either Cupertino or Austin, and they can be very inflexible when it comes to remote work. Btw, have you aligned with the recruiter on comp? If not, I’d suggest you do that first and decide if it’s worth the hassle of moving.
My impression is no, but then again no one has had to come back yet. Not a single lawyer I know wants to be back in the office, that isn’t at the tip top anyways

Interested in this as Apple hiring seems elusive
I’m interviewing and they made clear they expect me to be in-office once folks return to office.
Just from reading about apple in general, they are not particularly flexible
There are some senior counsel in DC and other satellite offices. But I think if you are working directly on products it’s Cupertino or Austin or bust
