has anyone from deloitte noticed that the hand emoji's on skype are very clearly white? #diversityandinclusion
When is Skype for Business not down.
My senior claims his wifi card is "broken" but he just didn't want to lead the Webex. I did it. Can I bill his rate?
When that one staff does yet another judge worthy thing and everyone gets quiet and starts frantically typing. You know Skype is lit. 💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾💁🏼💁🏼💁🏼
When your senior changes her status from available to do not disturb mid skype conversation
Have any of you tried using Webex for your mobile devices? It's actually pretty damn convenient...
There is a manager in our firm whose name is similar to a fish who is completely lost and now we have to pick up his slack #busyseasongrief
When you say you need to drop for another call then dial into an empty Skype meeting so your status says "in a conference call" but really wanted to finish walking dead. #itsfriday
When I'm in a meeting that I don't care for I use Skype to call my cell and pretend it's important call that I have to take
Does anyone use slack for work? Or what do you use for collaboration?tired of confidentiality restrictions
I wish there were read receipts on Skype conversations. These Analysts be playing games
When it's Friday and you fall asleep on the couch watching a WebEx. Not even sorry about it!
Even bosses experience burn out.
A friend shared this one today!
I had an abortion a few years ago, there are 3 men who could’ve been the father. I only told one (best guess), the other two I’m still friends with but they will never know.
Best feeling, ever
Is my fiancé abusive? I mentioned that my father always comes first and he got hurt by this. I wasn’t aware he was so upset about it until I brought it up because he didn’t show any affection and I was wondering what’s bothering him. He didn’t say anything but avoided me, didn’t hug or kiss me and kinda went to sleep without saying good night.
What are some things partners and directors can do to boost morale while we are all remote?
I see a fair amount of attorneys post about their career unhappiness. If you were to be honest, do you love practicing law? And, if not, why do you continue to do it?
Any Account supervisor roles open in NY?
You guys after a point feel like the prestige and pride of big 4 fades away? Ure basically left with some fancy English words and a below average pay
Law students say they want to do cross border work because it sounds exciting and then in reality you do the same work but just end up on calls at 4am
I don’t know why, but the combination of election uncertainty mixed with being in production on three separate projects is making me reaaaaaaally hungry. 🍳🥪🥗🌮🧆🍿🍪🍩
Junior litigators, how are you all doing? Am I the only one finding it impossible to manage my own caseload, take on new urgent assignments from partners, and not be burnt out right now? Getting to the point where I’m so behind that I sometimes feel too overwhelmed to even start on my task list. Doesn’t help that partners take forever to review my work so i can get the product to the client. Looking for commiseration & encouragement that things will look up lol!
What's a fair total compensation range for an iam program manager in tech industry, silicon valley startup? I'm being pressed for a number. Currently a big 4 M1 at 132k base with 6 yoe. TIA
Every Friday I have my students complete a flexible bell ringer... drawings, lists, poems, etc.. Does anyone have any in mind that would be enjoyable to my grade 11 kiddos who range from Dual Credit to Inclusion? Thanks!
why do people work in FDD? what are the goals you hope to achieve, what are exit opps, etc? i’ve seen common exit opp into FP&A but why not go straight to FP&A? what are some advantages of being in FDD for your career?
If I’m making 102k in SF and an agency in LA asked me for what I’m looking to make down there, can I ask to keep my salary or is that over the top?
Wondering if this is ethical? I had an annual IEP meeting yesterday for a student with Dyslexia. She has been receiving Dyslexia services and math accelerated instruction since she did not pass the state math test (STAAR). Her biggest struggle is with word problems. Her dad is not crazy about her being pulled out of class for math but is ok with it since it’s helping her. The school psychologist decided to persuade Dad to dismiss his daughter from SPED altogether. This just doesn’t seem right.
