Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. I’ve worked really hard and I’m worried our wonderful news will throw chances with this :(- also if I don’t get promoted pretty sure it’s up or out. Any advice?

Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. Crazy ethics issue. Client 1 has VPO against man who later becomes Client 2. This is the 4th VPO this year, previous ones dismissed.

In the meantime, State has filed rape charges against man who becomes Client 2 and A/B charges against Client 1. Client 1 also files for divorce.

Clients reconcile (which is how they both end up clients...) and want VPO dismissed, divorce dismissed, and criminal charges dismissed.

Had an FET transfer and just got the news that the pregnancy test is negative. Feeling very defeated about it. All my labs are good (AMH 3.1) and the embryos were PGA tested. Have only two left now, and this was the best quality one. The irony is I did feel pregnant couple days after transfer but then I stopped feeling pregnant. I read that some women don’t really “feel” pregnant until 6-7 weeks… but i did “feel” then stopped. It just sucks. If you have any advice for coping, I’d appreciate it.
