Any in-house counsel in here willing to post their company, level or YOE, and total comp breakdown? If you’re comfortable, please consider posting both your current stats and what your stats were when you first moved in-house. If there’s any other information that you want to share, please include that too (e.g., hours, interesting perks, etc.). Info on in-house salaries is pretty hard to come by, and it would be great to compile some data points here! Facebook Amazon Google Netflix Apple

You will be most likely on a cohort model so each year you get moved into a cohort and your base salary will be in X range with bonus depending on tier/performance. Your performance also impacts if you are on the higher or lower cohort and Salary should be dependent on the area you are located as they have low, middle and high cost of living cities. Your other question though, I’m not sure how much internal teams pay, but client side in audit, tax and consulting people are complaining it’s generally underpaid compared to industry.
