Hello Folks,
My LWD with current organization is on 30-Sep-2022.
I have an offer with HCl and joining date is on 3-oct-2022.
I have cleared the TCS technical and managerial round and got an email to upload the documents to proceed further with HR discussion, an I have done it yesterday.
But my priority is to go with TCS, but the doubt is will TCS provide offer or joining letter before 30-Sep-2022, because only 6 days left to complete my LWD.
Any suggestions to handle this.

Hi Fishers, I have accepted Walmart offer and my BGV has started 3 weeks ago. How do I check my BGV status? I will be joining in mid May. Also, I have been hiding one of the company where I had worked for 45 days and then absconded due to personal issues. Would it create any trouble? They had created my PF account though. Any help would be highly appreciated

Good question! Can you ping HR and let us know? 😎
You’re looking at it wrong. They’ll match according to what you put in, each pay period. So it’s a combination...
Oh I see, the cap. It's based on total regular earnings for the calendar year, so your increased pay Oct-Dec just adds in with what you earned rest of year. Check paycheck on 12/31 for that "regular" YTD line item, multiply by 2.5%
I called them HR services and they don't know either. They said they'll get back to me tomorrow.
Huh? The match is based on $ you put into the account. Has nothing to do with how much you make.
How long have you been investing in 401k? Kpmg matches 50 cent for every dollar you invest, up to 5% of your "base pay". So to maximize the match you need to contribute 5% of base pay. From what kpmg matched last year it seemed lower than what I expected..i am guessing the difference is because of the change in base in october,...hence the question.
Also learned something interesting reading the policy: apparently we are eligible for the match if still employed on last day of the "plan year", which is Dec 31, and don't actually need to still be employed on the date in Feb when they pay it out. I wouldn't necessarily gamble on that but policy just says Dec 31.
That policy document is outdated, it still reflects 25% for every dollar, instead of 50%
K2 did the math, you're are correct. Thanks!
