Flying into lax for the first time tomorrow. Hearing all the issues with Uber are taxis more readily available ? Going 7 miles

We just started house hunting in the San Francisco/ Bay area and realised we are short by at least $30K for the down payment for the price range we are looking at.

We don’t have a very lavish lifestyle but not very conservative either. Need to make some changes over next few months to be able to save that money.

Post taxes/rent, we make about $15K per month. What are some suggestions to make short term/ long term lifestyle changes that could allow us to save significantly?

I’m transitioning from the psychology/social work field to become a Data Analyst!! I realized this was the field for me after I worked in a research lab for 2 years & loved it. Right now I’m taking the Google DA Certification & trying to really take my time learning SQL & R Programming.

My question is, for entry level positions would I have to be tested on things like SQL or R before getting hired & how hard/rigorous would this testing be?

Hello. Need advice. I work in San Diego and am from Lubbock. I come from a Indian family, I have been on my own for 4 years now, but ever since work from home started, family has been wanting me to work from Texas. I moved back last April. I am used to being on my own but every time I mention about it, they say that family is important and want me to stay. Need some guidance. My brother and I both have had major struggles with depression and anxiety due to our childhood.
