Anyone leave consulting to become a broker? Can you share your experience?

What are your thoughts on exiting to Box and Dropbox? I don’t have a good framework to analyze the doc sync space but can’t imagine they’ll stay in that niche without expanding to other areas. Will be a remote worker, so office/ food don’t play a role for me

What are the tldr differences between HR roles, people Operations, and people business partner positions? They all seem similar but I’m curious how y’all characterize them. I’m coming out of a very internal position at a nonprofit and I’m trying to better align my work accomplishments to make sense in more traditional career paths.

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work. My position title is changing soon but I’m wondering how helpful that would be for wanting to go into PM work at a tech company. Anyone have any career pivot advice? (Also I’m only 1.5yrs old in my career so I’m definitely still new, and I have previous experience as a project assistant).
