I am a SAP developer with around 10+ yrs of exp. I want to move into product management, can anyone here guide me how to make that shift , what all skills I need to learn , do I need to have some certification from any B school ?

Any book recs on how to improve soft skills (ex. Communication, leadership, etc)? Doesn’t beat real life practice of course but would be a good starting point. Thanks!

Hi! In the process of switching from South FloRida to PA again to work at a hospital but making the same money? I'm two thirds through the PMA Core Certification, and the info is great but the tests are a joke. They need to contract with an educator that specializes in testing and assessment to come in and develop exams that actually measure if you know the material. The bad test design devalues the certification. Not to zero, but I definitely will not be proud to have earned it. It just means I had $1300 and sat through 15 hours of video lectures.

Any firms that use CCH make sure your invoices are being checked carefully. We just reviewed ours and were over-billed the last 2 years. We were supposed to have discounts and the math wasn’t even correct across for the amount times the discount to the amount billed. The worst part is our rep then gave a bullshit story of how the list price was incorrect on the invoice but the amount billed was correct.
