Hi Everyone! I have been working in Salesforce for about a year now. But I am not enjoying my work as it's mainly on backend. I have been wanting to move to Web Dev. But someone suggested that like if I like frontend I should try LWC instead as I'm already into Salesforce. So I'm quite confused which way should I go. Yes - mostly because they took our 401K match away. The job doesn’t really feel worth it anymore without basic benefits you get at every other corporate company.
Agree, it’s basically a pay cut
There’s a pantload of people who are home with no health benefits other than cobra right now, no income, counting the weeks until they need to start digging into savings to pay their mortgage, contemplating selling their homes and moving away from their extended families…

I am in that pantload. But luckily in funemployment, you don’t have to wear pants.
I get the sense they’re trying to encourage ppl to go elsewhere. Think it’s part of their plan to passively reduce costs beyond layoffs. Would I leave without something lined up? No. Are recruiters suddenly coming out of the woodwork bc there’s a chance to steal top talent right now? Yes.
Rising Star
No pressure to quit, but it does feel like my agency has been firebombed, is just waiting to fail, and we’re all just huddling together for warmth. Which is strange because we haven’t laid many people off yet.
