So relieved to get MIT & Kellogg Admits today after getting rejected with interview at Booth, and rejected without interview at Wharton.

Waitlisted at Yale too.. Unpredictable.. Now just hoping there's some money in the admits :)

I’ve been toying around with the idea of getting my masters in something relating to compliance/labor law and that side of HR. Shrm certification is also on my list. If anyone has some advice on what to get a masters in specifically, I’d be open to suggestions! I’m trying to find something that would be worth my while and would give me a step up. Thanks!

25m. Consulting for 3 years. I got into a top 10 mba program for the fall, so normally a no brainer. With covid I’m not sure. Is there any benefit to an mba if it’s all online? Firm isn’t paying (and haven’t told them - I’m at a boutique so I’d have to quit) and no indication it’s it’s online or not. Very anxious about having to decide. What are others thinking?

I have been working as an HSE Officer for a construction company in Bahrain for the last 3 years. I intend to do PMP and look for better opportunities. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Nebosh IGC. Can someone refer me for a start in assisting project managers to get an exposure of project management?

I don't get the point of getting an MBA. I feel like there's nothing b-school can teach you that you can't teach yourself... and networking is feasible without the help of an overpriced university.

Is a part time mba to a top school worth it? Does it matter or not if you plan to move to industry in the future?

Hi Folks, please help me with below options:

EY GDS (Business Consulting): 22L Fixed
Bristlecone (Process Consulting): 25L Fixed

YoE 7+, MBA

* Is it safe to negotiate with EY against Bristlecone offer?
* What's the salary range of S.Con in EY GDS Business Consulting?
* Which is better out of above two?

I find myself at the bed of my MBA with two offers:
1-MBB in the Middle East
2-Boutique Bank 250 people doing healthcare Private Capital in Europe

If I go to the Middle East, I would join the Park team in the MBB (they already reached out) and I can eventually or move back to Europe and spend a year or two as manager and exit to PE ( I am not sure if I can exit to non operational roles)

If I stay in Europe I would lose on brand name and salary but I’ll be able to join a deal team.

Has anyone taken one of those online executive courses, like the Harvard Extension School offers? Looking to use my $5k of tuition reimbursement and already have an MBA. Worth it? Best programs?

32F, 10 YOE at two big 4’s in both tech and HC. Tough decision and want input! Options:

1. Offer to go to Deloitte as SM $200k+
2. Admitted to NYU and Columbia full time Bschool programs - no scholarship at either
3. Admitted to Darden w more than half scholarship
4. Offer to go to Two FANGS as a program manager, 150k base, 75k annual equity (non technical role)

I don’t love what I do but seems I could make partner in 3-5 years at D. Having tough time turning down Columbia Bschool or FANG.

At this point all I care about is salary what would result in your opinion most money •CFP •CPA •prestigious MBA •CFA •CAIA •coding boot camp I’m at $85k now

I joined a banking company post MBA from one of the top B school of India. However, the job does not aligns with my interest. I'm more inclined towards tech roles and I have been applying externally for product manager role for last 4 months. New joiner are not allowed to switch to other roles internally till they complete 2 years.
But, I'm not getting shortlists as most of the PM/APM roles requires prior PM experience. Can anyone please let me know what to do in such a situation.

I’m fearful that I have ADHD but I don’t really want to be medicated. I used to take adderall and hated the way it would make me feel (loss of appetite and trouble falling asleep). I’m going to be drastically cutting down my alcohol consumption and increasing my exercise. Has anyone else gone through this without being medicated and any other tips to deal with it?
