3 days is increasingly becoming the norm at many firms…
I don’t work for Kearney or S& (work for another T2). It’s definitely very challenging, I try to push for 3 days onsite as much as possible across engagements. Gets a bit more relaxed for onsite presence once you’re at Principal and above.

Generally speaking, sustainability in any shape or form is not really a strength of the region
For Kearney, it all depends on the account but 4 days travel is pretty much the standard. It’s hard on kids but if you have a supportive partner and are 100% with your kids mentally while at home you’ll have it much easier.
Even 3 days - how does your partner/child feel about it? You think it’s sustainable?

Carve out protected time. Homework support, family dinner etc. But be fully there when you are physically there. Sounds easy but not that evident
For Kearney 3-4 days a week, every week. Especially now that Neom is kinda the main company client and less projects in Riyadh, traveling while having kids became more difficult. You can get a week remote every 4-5 weeks onsite though.
