But, ultimately chose Bain for the culture despite McKinsey being aligned with my professional goals of working in the government. For example, Deloitte has 1 month unpaid leave you can take after 1 year of employment for any reason. Accenture offers 3 months unpaid leave after 1 year as well.

Our comp system is slightly complex so we know promotions Dec-Jan while bonuses are paid out late Feb-Early March (aka 2-3 months)
