Looking to move on from current role however bonus/pay review period in 6 months (base jump likely to be around 10%). Is it better to wait to get the bump then negotiate off that for next role or start looking for roles now and accept if can find a jump of 15-20%? Planning to get the security plus certification, any advice on what study materials(books/videos) to use and what basic knowledge you should have to start?

Is the exam for Splunk core certified user (1st cert) difficult? Just finished fundamentals part 1 and I’m not sure if I should take more time to study.

Everyone says that getting a Master's in cyber isn't worth the time/money. Certs are better. But surely an MS in cyber could benefit in some way. In what career path would a degree like this help?
