Approaching 10 years out of school, basically with all outbound finished product experience. I really want to get a more 360 view of supply chain, but worried I’ve already pigeonholed myself a bit. Any suggested paths/job titles to search for? Would love to gain this experience via consulting, but seems I don’t meet all the requirements.

You could enroll for a master's degree in SCM to open up job opportunities on the managerial side.

There are so many different job title paths you could do: supply chain analyst, inventory manager, procurement specialist, demand manager, operations manager, project manager, logistics manager. You could also consider professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) to enhance your knowledge and credentials.

Been with an Asphalt and Concrete contractor in suburban Chicagoland for a little over 2 years now, and am going into a compensation discussion tomorrow after informing my boss I no longer wish to be on a draw.

Current comp plan is as follows:
Salary- ~48k w/ draw up to about 80k, full OTE with commissions should be ~170000, this is all increased by kickers every 250k in sales that increase commission/draw

My questions is if the draw is removed, how much salary should I be asking for?
