Yes welcome to big 4
I feel like a side chick/man that's been neglected
Typical HR for you. Not the brightest or most efficient people.
Oh..they are callous. Get ready for lots of anxious moments. Also when you receive your offer check if they have your name and position correct. I received an offer for Amy Wong or Chong....
^will have you know that both Deloitte and PWC upvoted me so you know it's true
EY recruiters are awful too
What are the economics behind this? My theory is that they've made offers to multiple individuals and seeing if one of the cheaper ones accept before getting back to me
^honestly it's also very possible it has to do with PPEDs being slow about answering their email or signing something
I had a recruiter give me the offer and then withdraw it a week later. Turns out they kept interviewing
It took me a month and change to get my offer letter from EY
Extending an offer involves more steps than you think - multiple layers of approval on every little thing, current bench in the practice to determine your start date, back n forth with HM and up on comp + ben, not to mention 3 out of 5 ppl involved are probably OOO right now...
Absolutely XD
Took both Accenture and Deloitte a month in my case...had to leave multiple voicemails and eventually contact my referrer to move things along internally
PWC forgot to send my final round invite after calling to tell me, then sent me a blank template "Dear (insert student here)," then sent me the wrong time for the interview so I showed up an hour late
Y'alls recruiters are monkeys
OP, which firm?
This was not experience at EY. But I did have an offer from another firm.
This is at D
