I ask because I have my first interview soon, it’s with a start up and there’s no info available online
Based on ~20 industry case interviews I’ve done it’s similar to consulting style interviews. But also expect it be less structured (e.g, no exhibits)

Yes ish. Will be specific to the industry and likely a real problem they are currently working on or have solved in past. As long as you have case tool kit down (how to structure problems, etc.) you will be good
In my experience for tech, It’s less structured vs. consulting in a sense that the questions are more one-off (eg think about pricing x, get market size for y, etc) vs one holistic case with multiple components. It’s also easier to prepare for as it’s almost always about their company so you can do prep work to understand the dynamics vs having to think on the fly.
