My final round with Deloitte for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)
After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Summaries and objectives are typically a waste of space unless you are changing industries/careers.
I pretty much always skim over the objective to get to the experience/education. Accomplishments in previous roles are what matter.
However, if you really want to use one, the suggestion of using it as a cover letter is a great thought as long as you keep it to 1-2 lines. For example, “my X years of experience in _____ doing _______ interests me in the ____ opportunity at XY. The core values of ______ at XY match what I’m looking for long-term due to my passions for _____.“ Try to reduce any fluff but keep it personalized :)
A program manager at Indeed recommended I include a professional summary at the top of my resume as a short intro/cover letter.
I've gotten a much better response rate on my resume since I changed formatting!
