Are there analytics consulting firms still hiring that work on longer term projects (i.e. 3-6 months)? I'm working in deal analytics and while I actually like consulting, I'm tired of constantly working on diligence projects, having 0 WLB, or being able to think deeply about problems my client has. I don't mind traveling, but would appreciate a firm that has some flexibility on where my home base is.

Skills:

-Python

-SQL

-Excel

-Some PowerBI (visualization isn't my forte yet)

Hello Fishes, I joined EY as a business consultant on May 21. I have served 8months on a project starting from July last year. But, My new project has not started yet in the past two months, as the client is postponing the start date, which is impacting my utilization matrix. One of the performance parameters is ‘Utilization score should be above 80percent’. Hence, will this impact my yearly hike and all?

I always hear/read people saying that partner lives are so difficult and they're working all of the time. Is that really the case? Past 18 months aside, my perception is that they have tremendous flexibility in their schedules. Partners with younger children are generally able to either put their kids to bed or start their day with them.
I'm not trying to downplay that Partners work hard, but the way. I just don't see it as crippling to personal life as ppl make it seem to be.

Poorly paid European here... And these days with rampant inflation and no heating( free health insurance not making up for that) ...Trying to get a fell for the average TC for director role in CPG in the US. I am seeing low ball numbers on job advertising (180k). Is that normal or should I be looking more at 250-300k? How does it compare to the average exit opportunity for mbb PL, manager ( e cling the tech exploding bubble)

Does this mean that without paying extra, the med insurance is just 1.5L?

A few months ago, there were articles about how Juniper Park/TBWA’s hand sign saved the life of a kidnapped girl in a car. But the next day, reporters asked the guy who called the cops about it and he said he had no idea what the hand sign meant, he actually called the cops because the kidnapped girl kept mouthing “Help me.” I’ve heard of agencies exaggerating sales results or click through rates in case studies, I really hope JP/TBWA isn’t exaggerating about, literally, saving someone’s life.
