Are there any diversity clubs/groups in B4/EY? Are they worth it in terms of meeting new people/networking/making friends?

Polling the group: Stay for one more year at Big 4 firm as a manager and get possibly get promoted next year - or take senior manager job now at a boutique firm? Offering same pay but better hours.

Need some guidance. Here is my situation:
1. Just transferred to big 4 FDD as snr from big4 audit (~a month ago, with no deal yet under my belt)
2. Studying for fmva certification
3. 1+ year plan is to take the GMAT & apply to ivy league mba program. Planning to break into IB and then PE later.
4. Got approach recently by a recruiter from Houlihan Lokey (HL) for an associate position in the Midwest. Comp range 120k -130k. I make about 100k now.
- Is the move going to be worth it? what'd you do

Does anyone else worry about their big 4 career for not being the most apt at small talk. I'm worried I'm not the most memorable member of my team for my clients and what it would mean going forward.

Any side hustle ideas? Big 4 compensation is a joke and will be a joke in the next few years 🙃

I’m in FDD… I know I signed up for this but there’s something about the anxiety that comes on a Friday knowing that we still didn’t get access to VDR .. and how that anxiety grows as you enter the long weekend knowing that access can happen at any minute (or not) and you have to tippy-toe on the idea of potentially cancelling on your memorial weekend plans. 3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.
