Working in a large health system as a quality professional WFH. I rarely see anyone else on my team, and when I do present findings I see no changes happening. Using declare, set function in SQL and in my declare function I am returning the following error:
“Cannot coerce expression (SELECT SUM(…”

Can’t find anywhere as to what this error means.

Although when I run the set query by itself, the sql does run correctly. But the error seems to occur when I add the SET function and using an open and close parenthesis around the query I am setting my
Variable to. Any idea as to what is causing this error?
