I am an Academic Technology coach in south Texas. I assigned three HS campuses and work with teachers to integrate technology into their daily practice. I love my job!

I'm all about technology. I've been using Google Classroom and Classcraft for about three years and I teach a film and multimedia CTE course at my middle school.

Hello everyone! I am a Judicial Law Clerk, which I have been for a little over two years now. However, I’m planning on moving into the AML/Compliance realm. I have a background in finance, having been a Finance Disbursing Officer in the Army for 6 years with one deployment in that role. Additionally, I am currently a JAG attorney and studying for my CAMS, hoping to take that exam in the next month or two. Any advice or referrals for anyone I can talk to learn more about the field? Thanks! :)

I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance.
I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members.
Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

Been at company many years and rebuilt dysfunctional team into high performers while also driving huge metrics and impact. Recently interviewed for elevated role and CEO congratulated me and told me I slayed it and he was proud of me. This is 2nd time I’ve applied for this job and found out yesterday my boss (not CEO) hired external. Don’t feel valued and I’m likely quitting without job. I’ve been through the ringer at this place/boss. Am I making a mistake for leaving without another job?

As the Talking Heads once said... "Well, how did I get here?" It seems to me there isn't one usual path to this industry, at least for older folks. Interested to hear how you got into ediscovery, especially for younger folks who might have insight into the current path(s) into the industry from outside.

I have worked in BPS for around 8.5 years and have excellent command over Excel, I have been moved to IT project and have 3 years experience in it as functional consultant/Quality Analyst/SME/Business Analyst.

Now I want to switch because I feel I am under paid, so is it the right time to explore new opportunities or I should still stay with current organization for some more time.

I see a lot of posts about only changing jobs if there's a big raise. I jumped out of consulting into a job that pays the same amount, but has way better WLB, culture, and other benefits. I was just not happy at my old job and I don't regret the switch. If you're not happy, it's ok to move without the change being all about a huge salary jump. Wish you all the best in your hunt for something new ❤️

Might have just made myself look bad, but I’d have done the same thing over again. Started a new client (finally thank God) and was supposed to be the only 1 staffing it. Found out an overseas person was allocated. Reached out to manager/partner - they didn’t realize and both made bad comments about them. So I asked… if I had to work with them. They planned for me to do the engagement alone anyway, and why would I want them if they clearly don’t either?

Due to current business circumstances, we are unable to proceed with the next steps, now. The process is taking more time than we had anticipated earlier and communicated. We would like to re-assure you that we are dedicatedly working to process your application . We hope that you treat this as a momentary ‘pause’ in this journey. Does it mean they put me on Hold?

My GF has trouble standing up for herself. She's on client travel and one of her co-workers made her really upset (very uncalled for and should have never happened). She called me crying. After consoling her I told her that she needs to go to her manager and possibly HR (yes it's to that level).
She told me she can't and she's not that person (she thinks she'll get the other person fired). She knows that she should and hates that she doesn't stand up for herself. What can I do to help?
