Homework over the holiday!?
I've decided against it based on these reactions 🤣. Didn't know it was so taboo!
No, the only HW is to go away for a few weeks.
You know you might be onto something here...
Our semester ends at Christmas, so it’s a break for everyone once grades are in.
I'm an absolutely no homework, but here are some cool places to explore and here are some family movie night suggestions kind of teacher.
I think I'm going to try this this year! At first I was thrown off but I'm not mad at skipping the post-christmas grading rush this year.
No homework and a short review when we get back of the previous concept. I also post Notes on all concepts prior as we work on them so all notes are available as needed. I do also exit test on everything before we leave as well.
My school has a policy that no work over a break unless you’re in the highest highest level of class and even then it should be very minimal. That being said I work at a private boarding school so when we have a break its a lot longer than most schools because the kids have to leave campus, and especially for our pinger breaks they travel to get home and we really want them to actually be able to spend time with their family when they’re home.
That depends.
Are your students asking for more to do over the break?
If no, then no.
Do you want your boss giving you work to do over your break?
