Are you including a 2–3 sentence resume summary at the top of your resume? I’m wondering if I should add one since I’m trying to move from management into consulting and applying for industry roles. Would a short summary help recruiters quickly understand my goal when they’re skimming my resume for just a few seconds? I’ve heard so many mixed opinions on whether a resume summary is necessary.
