Are you involved with interviewing and hiring at your company? If so, what are some steps taken to make sure the process is equitable? The last company I was at went through an entire process to build a fair hiring in process including removing names from resumes, standardizing questions and using points to rank candidates.

I got a follow up call on an application for a "Remote" position. Talked to the recruiter and was told they planned a mandatory return to the office in the next year and the position was only "Remote" until then. Has anyone else see this?

Why if you are on H1B is so much problematic for vendors looking for contractors ? Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. Point being does it matter for end client , if the contractor is coming as W2 or not ?

I like the Apple Card and considering opening one but want to see if there are better alternatives. It’s enticing that if I lose my card, I can instantly change the number so someone can’t use it. Plus no numbers means someone can’t randomly make a large fraudulent purchase.
