As a CV Engineer with 1.5 years of exp, I’m finding the job market tough, i.e. unable to even find any openings in the US/EU. Unlike LLM or full-stack roles that are pure software, CV requires companies to invest in hardware infrastructure (cameras, sensors, etc.).

Any tips on how to find these specialized CV roles? Alternatively, if I transition to broader AI/software roles, then I would be counted as a junior so it could set me back. Appreciate any insights!

I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company.
