As a new hire SR consultant (soon to switch to specialist track) who interviewed for USDC and Core and chose core because the USDC recruiter basically told me Core is better and I’m better fit for Core-
USDC recruiter told me he could go 110k base tops as a MAYBE for a QE Automation Engineer or System Integration Engineer.

What skills do y’all have as solution analysts, solutions specialists etc? With the salaries I’ve seen thrown around in this bowl I’m curious.. they’re not very competitive

Is it worth applying for a position with a firm you are directly adverse to on a matter or will conflicts definitely keep you from joining?

Hi all,

After the final interview, HR reached out and said they would like to extend an offer. HR gave a ball park of 135k - 145k base with about 15k in sign-on equity and 20k annual bonus.

After a couple of days, HR person came back with with 125k base and 20k annual bonus. No sign-on equity anymore. What should I do given that these numbers seem way lower than the initial range provided? HR claimed it’s because of “market conditions”.

In Nov. I signed a 2yr contract to be a Data Entry Specialist once I started in April they changed the job title to Date Analyst. The salary is based on job title and average for it in my state. How do I go about bringing this up and a salary change to match?

How long does it take to release offer letter from HSBC. I already have given HR round and submitted documents for background verification.

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

Ugh I wanted to take my son to see a UFC match in person. Just so happens there is one in November at Madison Square Garden - great right! I knew the tickets would be expensive, was willing to pay $400 to $500 a ticket as long as they were decent. The cheapest ticket in the whole arena, basically top row so you can’t see crap, is $506 before you start with the fees!!! Am I wrong or is that just bananas????
