To remember that living life, every aspect of it, is not going to be easy. So, transfer the same determination and perseverance you've used to get through school and the many environments surrounding it to get to where you are now, a graduating scholar.

Don’t sweat the petty things..
…..and don’t pet the sweaty things.

I was fired last month after a short time at the company. I knew things weren't going well- it was a terrible culture fit & I was also planning my exit strategy. They wouldn't give me specific reasons other than to vaguely say it was performance related. I agree I made a few dumb mistakes (none of any dire consequence) but what kills me is that I tried really hard. I don't want to change careers but I have a deep seeded fear that no matter how hard I try, I will never be a "good attorney".

Additional Posts in Career & Technical Education (CTE) Teachers

Hi! I am currently an Early Childhood Teacher, but I am interested in becoming an Early Childhood Education instructor at a technical high school. It will be a big jump from teaching K to teaching high school students but I am really excited about the possibility of working with the next generation of teachers. What are the best things about CTE? What challenges can I expect?
