I “start” at 9:30 aka I read the news and sulk til like 10:30am and then work til 8pm
9:00 am and 3:00 pm and then sometimes evening work and then I work some on the weekend to make up the difference. But, I work for myself so it’s driven by what work has come in and what marketing/networking is needed to bring more work in.
My husband and I both work from home and his work doesn’t start until 11:00 am (11:00 am to 8:00 pm) so I try not to get started too early so as not to wake him. I pick my five year old up at 3:00 pm from kindergarten so most work activities stop at that point.
I know this is a different schedule than most. I’m not getting rich off this level of work, but I am nurturing my son.
I just stepped away from a brutal work environment that had me working 15 hour days very often. I had to reacquaint myself to my son. We were like strangers. Now we’re poor, but happy.

If I’m busy that day, I start at 7. If I’m slow, 8:30. Pre-covid, I would try to get to the office slightly before 7 on busy days because the sunrise view from my firm’s office is beautiful. I always felt like that gave me something to look forward to on an otherwise brutal day.
I mostly will start working at 5:30am, try to stop around 4, then sometimes back online from 6-8 or so after dinner and after my toddler is asleep. The think I've appreciated most about the pandemic is the ability to really lean into my own best schedule. If I have a lot of work to do, I'd rather start working at 4:30am than work until 11pm and I like having the freedom to do that.
In NYC, and pre-COVID around 930-10 am. Some associates started even later, but partners were in by 9 am and asking for stuff, so I tried to start on the earlier side. Post- COVID, still around 930 and finish around 8 or 9 pm.
8:00 am till 6:30 or so
Varies. Usually 9:30/10 start, lunch break, work til 5:30ish. Work out, cook, etc. and maybe 1 or 2 more hours late at night.
This seems sustainable

8:30ish am and usually stop around 8pm

Whenever and 6. But I mostly do phone calls and editing so can do it whenever.
I’m usually working 8:30 to 6:30 with some extra time at night if needed. I’d prefer to start later but our office requires early face time even during Covid.
A lot of busy days and juggling multiple deals so my days are frequently 9:30am-2am (in July-Sept, it was actually mostly working those or even longer hours. These days I'm feeling so exhausted and burnt out that I take a 1-3 hr break around dinner time to cook/eat with my husband, otherwise I can't cope, but then I end up having to stay up till 2 anyway - worth it for me but the sleep deprivation is real!). I can't really control this because I often get comments or questions even after 11pm that require responses and revisions by first thing next morning.
Occasionally I'll be up till 5 or 6am, then my day doesn't start till 11 unless absolutely necessary.

Pre-Covid: 10am -8pm
Now: 9:00am - ???? But if I don’t have stuff going on I stop around 7
